I called Crowell Brothers when I was advised to have my car checked after the Battery light stayed on after several miles. They agreed to check my car and gave directions. When I arrived they checked it right away. My battery was dead and I needed a new alternator. Michael, the mechanic was so kind in explaining everything and showing the parts. They estimated the time to be 3hours. When we got back after taking a walk and having lunch at 3:00 they informed us it would take longer since it was hard to get the parts out. Michael kept us posted. I expected the estimate of cost would be higher but they committed to the original estimate and they did not charge for the extra time. We left the repair shop feeling grateful and blessed to have such good service with kind people who really are a shining example of great service and care for their customers. I would recommend them highly and also talked with the owner who stayed until past 6:30 when the job was completed. Great leadership! Michael was truly our Guardian Archangel.

I had a great experience with Crowell. Their combination of professionalism, technical expertise, and good-natured shop humor made the entire process enjoyable and reassuring. They did an excellent job removing and resealing the lower oil pan on my 2004 F-350 6.0L. During the repair, they also discovered five bolts that were only finger-tight. These fasteners had previously been confirmed as properly torqued before another shop performed work on the truck, making their findings especially concerning. What impressed me most was their thoroughness and attention to detail. They took the time to properly inspect the vehicle, identify issues, and ensure the work was completed correctly. Prior to another shop working on my truck, I had never experienced these problems. Unfortunately, after that work was performed, I encountered repeated issues, damaged components, and a lack of accountability. Crowell’s professionalism and commitment to quality were a refreshing contrast. You’ve restored my confidence that there are still shops that take pride in doing the job right the first time.

Absolutely amazing. I’ve never had a service professional from any field go above and beyond like Crowell Brothers did. We were traveling through town when our car caught fire. When the tow vehicle never came, a mechanic (Michael) came to us to diagnose and help us get the vehicle to them. Michael was incredibly kind, genuinely concerned for our comfort and well being, and did more to help us at every step of the way than most anyone else would have. We were traveling with our young daughter and dog, so the extra consideration and care was as appreciated as any repair. They then fixed it to a safe point for us to drive to our final destination (not in Aberdeen) while waiting for the part they needed for the full repair to arrive since it was unfortunately a Friday (everywhere closed til Monday). They fixed it quickly once the parts arrived and had us back on the road within the time frame we needed.

Brought my boat in after having some problems with my stereo functioning. Chris squared away my wiring, bench tested the amps, and came up with a great temporary fix to get me functioning for the rest of the boating season and a reasonable plan that we can budget for in the off season. Very affordable compared to what the possibilities were and genuinely interested in making sure I was satisfied.
